Blane Comeaux, Vice President

Acadian Monitoring Services

Blane Comeaux is vice president of Acadian Monitoring Services which includes the divisions of Acadian On Call, Mobile Monitoring, Acadian On Watch, and Acadian Telehealth. Comeaux began his career at Acadian Ambulance Service as a Basic EMT in 1986. In 1987, Comeaux became a paramedic and graduated with an AS in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He was a graduate of the first class of paramedics at the University. Comeaux took on multiple roles at Acadian, first working in the Swing department which placed him on various ambulance shifts in different locations as needed. He then moved on to the highly regarded Acadian Ambulance Communication Center .

In 1993, Comeaux was promoted to supervisor in the Communication Center
where he worked until 1999. He then advanced to manager of Acadian On
Watch. In just five short years, Comeaux helped to make Acadian On Watch the largest alarm monitoring center in Louisiana . In addition, Acadian On Watch handled medical, fire, security, and industrial alarms in 38 states.

In 2003, Comeaux took on the additional role as manager of Acadian On Call. Under his leadership, both the On Call and On Watch services grew, and continue to be significant divisions of Acadian Ambulance Service.

In 2004, Comeaux was promoted to director of Monitoring Services and soon
launched another division called Acadian Mobile Monitoring, providing
GPS tracking services for business assets, vehicle fleets, families and teens,
pets, and the elderly. During that same year, Comeaux received his BS in Business
Administration in 2004 from Columbia Southern University.

Comeaux was named vice president of Acadian Monitoring Services in 2006 and in 2007 helped to establish the new division of Acadian TeleHealth Monitoring.
