Faye Bryant, Nurse Manager

Faye Bryant is the nurse manager for Acadian TeleHealth Monitoring. Bryant graduated and obtained her LPN from Louisiana Technical College in 1994. She later went on to
graduate from Louisiana State University - Alexandria in 1998 where she received her
ADN. She then enrolled at Northwestern State University and received her BSN in December of 2007.

Prior to joining Acadian Ambulance Service, Bryant was a home health field nurse. She also served as a director and worked as a Practical Nursing instructor. Bryant was also instrumental in putting together educational programs for children of obesity and for diabetics when she coordinated Community Education for a home health agency in Alexandria , LA. Bryant later joined Acadian Ambulance Service as the Telehealth Manager in January 2007.

Although new to the Acadian family, Bryant brings with her a wealth of experience. Upon graduation, she began her career as a pediatric nurse at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria , Louisiana , receiving her certification in pediatrics in 2000 from the ANCC. Following her passion for teaching, she was an instructor at Louisiana Technical College Practical Nursing Program and then was named the Community Education Coordinator for Rapides Regional Medical Center . While in this position, she created classes for the public on diabetes and childhood obesity. She also brings with her experience as a home health case manager and director.
